// Who I am

I'm Sam, aka Furglitch. I spend most of my time building and maintaining software that sit somewhere between useful utilities and hobby projects. I also dabble in worldbuilding and writing, though I currently don't have much of that online.

This site is part portfolio, part playground: a place to collect the things I make and the ideas behind them.

// What I care about

Automation
Software should remove friction, not add to it. I like building things that save time, even if it takes more time to automate it than I would've to do it manually.
Linux-first compatibility
A lot of my work leans toward Linux tooling.
Strong presentation
Good structure and clear visuals matter. I try to make interfaces feel deliberate instead of generic.
Small, shippable iterations
I prefer making progress in increments so projects stay usable while they evolve. Better to have something small but working, rather than large and broken.
